BalanceMe guide

Notice a pattern. Choose one change.

BalanceMe uses numbers you enter from your device. It cannot read or block other apps automatically.

1. Record

Open your phone’s built-in screen-time report. Copy the apps you used most and their hours and minutes into BalanceMe. Add categories and a date; the total is calculated and must stay below 24 hours.

2. Choose

Choose a daily, app, or category limit, or a target number of low-screen-time days per week. Edit or pause it whenever you need. Progress uses recorded observations, not missing days.

3. Focus

Start a timer for one task. You choose its purpose and length, and you can pause, restart, or end it.

4. Reflect

Write a short private note about what helped. Edit notes in your dated journal history. Analytics shows recorded days and app/category patterns; search finds your notes, goals, and entries. Export or import your records in account settings.

BalanceMe is not medical care. If screen use is affecting daily life or safety, speak with a trusted adult or qualified professional.
